this was some years ago. Lara Kirsten
was with me, who took the photo. an event near Pretoria..
it was outside under a canopy. did it rain? there was a swimming pool
and this was the thing: the theme was HATS.
so.. i wore a hat.
surprise..
at another performance for the House of Life in Berlin, a photographer called
Christian Giese showed up, firing me with his camera,
presenting me with a host of new photo material, in return for just being at
the performance.
this is one of his gems. just me, straight on the cello.
sometimes
children partaking in my workshops leave messages for me afterwards.
this is just to honour all those feelings expressed, often boosting my morale
significantly!
