Dear all

It is my last days in the Cape before I am back in Europe for some months. I give here info on three events, even as they fall outside of your area, so you do have options and so you can let your friends know!

Let us keep coming together in these turbulent times (I actually would prefer to stay here, down south, much further away from the violent clouds of dust and smoke!) so we can strengthen our ability to bring firth what is creative, what is authentic and empowering.

  • a riveting "FINALE", featuring images from around the world to bring home our common humanity

What to expect:

  • Experience the sound of cello and the flowing mystery of bodily movement (by dancer Lean Bakker) amongst beautiful garden plants and trees.
  • Thereafter comes the HA!Man's music, indoors, with an emphasis on the healing power of Nature:-
  • a poetic-visual journey through the maginficent (text by Joke Deabere)
  • a musical dance on white flowers from the Karoo
  • a heavenly drift along with Fynbos in the Free State
  • and an anthemic celebration of the natural beauty of South Africa

What to expect:

  • the forward charging "PRELUDE to the FIRE"
  • a rendition of "Come all ye Faithful" to transform the hymn to a call on ALL of humanity to come together
  • and then that towering one, simply called "BIG"
  • and then, music wit visuals on the delicate power of flowers
  • taking a poetic drive through our biggest city (and my hometown): Johburg!
  • a dance on "GRAND AFRICA"
  • culminating in the BIG dilemma of our times: a "lament in time of war"
